DAY 1

Arrival at Fortaleza airport, transfer to hotel located in “Beira Mar”, the sea front of Fortaleza, in the Meireles district, the center of nightlife in Fortaleza.

DAY 2

Departure in the morning from Fortaleza to reach the most famous beach in Jericoacoara; 310-meter paved road in the middle of lagoons hidden by “carnauba”, the typical palm of the area and the symbol of the state of Cearà, as well as thousands of rubber trees, mangoes and moriche palms.
When arrived in Jericoacoara and arranged your baggage in the pousada you chose, you could use the rest of the day to enjoy the white beach of Jeri with its imposing dunes tasting a cocktail or a or a shrimp salad … (note that Jericoacoara was elected by the Washington Post As one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world).

DAY 3

Departure in the morning to go for a tour to “dune buggy”, the most used means of transport in the city, to reach the lagoon of paradise and the blue lagoon, located not far from the city.
Then return to Jericoacoara for lunch and, in the afternoon an ecological walk through the Serrote, the two hills neighbouring Jeri, as far as “Pedra Furada”, a symbol of the city, created by the curious erosion of the sea.
Return to Pousada.

DAY 4

In the morning we’ll go touring on the beach by a 4×4 jeep as far as the village of Mangue Seco, through an intricate mangrove forest.
When arrived in Mangue Seco, we’ll make an excursion by boat to try to see the sea horses in the lagoon nearby; then we’ll reach Tatajuba, a small fishing village In the afternoon, we’ll reach Parnaiba in the neighboring state of Piauí, running by rafts through river Coreaù and through the cities of Camocim, Cheval and Camurupim.

Overnight stay in the Hotel.

DAY 5

Departure in the morning for the national park “Sete Cidades” (seven cities), an archaeological site which counts rock formations with extravagant shapes and rupestrian inscriptions dating back to 6,000 years ago; Lunch in the hotel of the park and we’ll reach Barreirinhas, 220 km, 70 of which are sandy, through the cities of Cana Brava, Tutoia and Paulino Neves (formerly Rio Novo).
When arrived in Barreirinhas and arranged your luggage in the hotel, you’ll have diner and spend the night.

DAY 6

Day entirely given to an adventurous tour by motor boat along the Preguiças river, and we’ll reach different places such as Vassouras, Morro do Boi, Mandacaru, as far as the villages of Caburé and Atins, small strips of beach enclosed by the sea and the river.
During the tour you could sight several wild animals and a lush forest consisting of mangroves, moriche palms and açai palms.
Back to Hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7

In the morning we’ll go touring to the Lençois Maranhenses National Park, an enchanted desert of white-sand dunes alternated with crystal-clear lagoons ranging from green to blue, where you could bask and bathe; we will reach the lagoons “Preguiça”, “Azul” and “do Peixe”.

Then back to the city for lunch and in the afternoon it is recommended an ultralight tour (optionally) for a complete and breathtaking panoramic view of the wonders of the national park.

DAY 8

After breakfast, transfer to Sao Luis, lunch and transfer to airport.
